New Goodnights Comedy Club Location Underway
HMD Construction & Development is honored to be partnering with the owners of Goodnights Comedy Club, a Raleigh fixture, in building out their new 11,000 sq ft permanent space in Raleigh’s Village District. For almost 40 years, Goodnights was an iconic landmark at their Morgan Street location, which over the years featured hall of fame talent from Jerry Seinfeld and Eddie Murphy to Jay Leno, Chris Rock, Dave Chappell, and even Big Tom Callahan’s son, Tommy. The HMD team has helped them with minor improvements to a “pop-up” club at 511 Woodburn Road where the laughs continue while construction of their new venue is underway. HMD is working closely with brothers & owners Brad and Marc Grossman to create a space that honors the club’s history while casting a thoughtful eye toward the future. Brad and Marc currently own and manage seven other premier comedy clubs around the country that host all of today’s mainstream comedic talent. Stay tuned for updates!
