Food Halls: A New Dining Concept
Food Halls, a popular new lifestyle dining concept, are now available in the Triangle Area!
Located in downtown’s Warehouse District, Morgan Street Food Hall introduced Raleigh to its first food hall with more than a dozen dining options and retail stalls. This bustling marketplace showcases local eateries with diverse, casual offerings. Visitors can enjoy the concept of cross meal ordering, where different meals are enjoyed in a shared seating area. Transfer Company Food Hall, just a five-minute walk from Fayetteville Street in Raleigh, is housed in the historic Carolina Coach Garage and Shops. With 50,000+ sq ft of renovated warehouse and newly built space, guests are invited to discover local community food producers, makers, vendors, and restaurateurs.
Opening for business in late 2019, Durham Food Hall is a casual, modern space located on the first floor of the Liberty Warehouse in the Central Park district of downtown. Offering a chef-driven culinary and cocktail experience, visitors will be welcomed to ten miniature eateries by Triangle chefs, all with unique menus made from locally sourced, seasonal ingredients. Chapel Hill’s Blue Dogwood Public Market is an indoor market currently featuring eight food vendors, with more to come. Located on iconic Franklin Street, visitors are invited to enjoy food and retail products such as fresh meat and organic produce. Blue Dogwood brings unique and diverse food to the local food scene.
And adjacent to the Wake Med Soccer Park, Fenton development in Cary is in the early development and design stages and includes a mix of chef-driven restaurant concepts, along with specialty retail, office, hotel, and multi-family living.
